How Splash Guards Protect Your Exterior From Road Debris

A splash guard helps block mud, rocks, and water from hitting your vehicle’s paint and underbody. They reduce the amount of grime that collects along the fenders and doors, keeping your SUV cleaner for longer.

Why OEM Splash Guards Fit Better Than Aftermarket Options

Genuine Honda splash guards are molded to match your exact wheel well shape, ensuring proper coverage and long-term durability. Drivers of the Honda Pilot appreciate how OEM guards install cleanly without gaps or rattling.

Easy Steps to Install New Splash Guards

Installing splash guards takes only a few basic tools. Follow these simple steps to get the job done:

1. Turn the Wheel for Better Access

Rotate the wheel inward so you can easily reach the fender lining and mounting points.

2. Remove Existing Fasteners

Use a screwdriver to loosen and remove the factory screws holding the liner in place.

3. Position the New Guard

Align the splash guard with the holes and ensure it sits flush against the fender.

4. Secure the Hardware

Reinstall the original screws or supplied fasteners to lock the guard in place.

5. Repeat on the Opposite Side

Install the remaining guard and check both sides for proper fitment and clearance.

While upgrading your guards, it’s also a good time to check other exterior items such as brake rotors for any signs of wear
